The controller for the processing of personal data on this website within the meaning of the GDPR is:

Submotion is an early-stage project currently in the pre-registration phase as a business entity in Germany. This website is informational and does not process any commercial transactions.

2. General information

Protecting your personal data matters to me. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected on this website, how it is used, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and German data protection law.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted with Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.

Web server location: Germany. Backups: France. All data processing therefore takes place within the European Union; no transfer to third countries occurs as part of the hosting service.

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically records so-called server log files. These contain:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of the request
• Requested file name and URL
• Browser type and operating system
• Referrer URL

Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable, secure and abuse-resistant operation of the website). Log data is deleted after a maximum of 14 days, unless there is a concrete reason to retain it longer (e.g. investigation of a security incident).

4. Web fonts (Bunny Fonts)

For typography, this website uses Bunny Fonts, a privacy-friendly self-hosted alternative to Google Fonts, provided by BunnyWay d.o.o., Cesta komandanta Staneta 4A, 4540 Radovljica, Slovenia. Fonts are delivered from servers within the European Union.

Bunny Fonts does not set cookies, does not log IP addresses for analytics purposes and does not transmit data to third parties. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a consistent and performant visual presentation).

5. Waitlist (Tally form)

The waitlist form on this website is embedded from Tally, operated by Tally BV, Naamsesteenweg 156, 3001 Heverlee, Belgium. By embedding the form, technical connection data (including your IP address and browser information) is transmitted to Tally to render and operate the form.

Data collected

When you submit the waitlist form, at minimum your email address and the submission timestamp are processed. Any additional information is only processed if you provide it voluntarily.

Purpose

Your email address is used exclusively to send you development updates, behind-the-scenes notes, and information about early-access opportunities related to Submotion. Newsletter emails are sent manually from luan@submotion.eu. There is no sale, sharing or marketing-related transfer of your data to third parties.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your voluntary consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Processing begins upon submission of the form and your explicit consent given at that point. The submission timestamp is recorded by Tally as evidence of your consent.

Retention

Your email address is stored until you unsubscribe or until the Submotion project is discontinued. After unsubscribing, your data will be deleted within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by emailing luan@submotion.eu.

Withdrawal of consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future. To unsubscribe, reply to any email you receive from Submotion with "unsubscribe" in the subject or body, or send an email to luan@submotion.eu. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Tally as processor

Tally acts as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR on the basis of a data processing agreement. More information on data processing by Tally: tally.so/help/privacy-policy

6. Contact by email

If you contact me by email, the data you transmit (email address, content of the message, timestamp) will be stored in order to process your enquiry. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) and, where applicable, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). The data is deleted once your enquiry has been finally dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Cookies

This website does not set its own cookies for tracking, analytics or marketing.

The embedded Tally form may set strictly necessary, technical cookies or use local storage on the Tally domain in order to operate the form (e.g. for spam protection or session handling). These are limited to what is technically necessary within the meaning of § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG and do not require consent.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
